How is a day with us?
Take a look at the Mirabal canyon video
CANYONING IN ESCUAIN VALLEY
Enjoy the landscape of Escuain Valley jumping and swimming in the Yaga river.
Miraval is the best descent for beginners in the Spanish Pyrenees and certainly one of our favorites and also of the travelers who visit us. It's a very complet canyon, it has: clear water, narrows gorges, flooded corridors and a lot of nice places for swiming.
In this canyon all the obstacles are avoidable which makes it the perfect activity for mixed ability groups, for family groups and especially for the children.
Mirabal canyon is an acuatic canyon where you can do jumps up to 8-10 meters high (always optionals) and some funny slides ( always optionals).
In this canyon there aren't abseils (snapling), therefore suppose a fanstastic activity for evereyone!
For the canyoning you need
-
Swimsuit or Bikini.
-
Sports shoes or walking boots (they will get wet).
-
Towel and change footwear.
-
Water and an energy bar, snacks or similar.
-
Hair rubber, for the people with a long hair.
-
People who wear glasses should use a retaining cord or use a glasses case.
-
3 euros for private parking in 2 and 1 euro coins.
Why do we start canyoning activities so early?
Most of our canyoning activities take place in the morning, as this offers several important advantages to enjoy the experience in the best possible conditions:
-
We make the most of the best sunlight hours inside the canyon and in the water.
-
We avoid the busiest times of the day and enjoy a quieter, more natural environment.
-
We reduce the risk of typical summer storms, which often develop during the afternoon.
-
Temperatures are more comfortable for both the approach hike and the activity itself.
