BASENDER AND PORTIACHA CANYONS

We recommend you a full day activity, doing two dry canyons 45 minutes driving from Ainsa.

 

The Basender is an awesome dry canyon close to the Rio Vero canyon. It's a descent with gorges, beautiful galleries and curious rock formations. It has 6 abseils up to 15 meters, all of wich are very easy. It's a perfect canyon to learn the tecnique of the abseiling.

 

Portiacha is a short canyon with 3 abseils, two of then with 30 and 35 meters high. The abseils in this canyon are exciting!

 

The canyons are dry, therefore the descent is posible throughout the year.
